Connor - travel OT & mentor/coach
Connor is a travel Occupational Therapist and mentor with Teach Travel Therapy who is passionate about helping new clinicians confidently navigate the world of travel healthcare. He earned his undergraduate degree from Creighton University and his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from The Ohio State University, graduating in May 2022. Shortly after passing his boards, Connor launched his travel therapy career in July 2022 and hasn’t looked back since.
Connor’s passion for school-based occupational therapy and working with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities began in high school through the Best Buddies program. He continued his involvement at Creighton University, where he served on the executive leadership team and met his wife, Alexa.
Throughout his travel career, Connor has completed contracts across Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and California in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, swing bed, and schools. While he values the diverse experiences travel therapy offers, the school setting has become his true niche, where he has spent the past three years supporting students.
Connor’s love for travel and outdoor adventure makes the travel therapy lifestyle a natural fit. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him hiking, camping, snowboarding, surfing, or exploring new places.
Travel therapy has taught Connor the importance of adaptability, flexibility, and embracing new opportunities. He is incredibly grateful for the experiences, professional growth, and meaningful connections the travel therapy world has brought into his life and is passionate about helping others discover those same opportunities.
